About the role
As our Finance & Administration Intern, you'll get hands-on experience keeping our Finance department well-organised and efficient. You'll support day-to-day administration and work closely with, and report to, our Senior Finance & Administration Officer, as part of the Business Support team. This is a great opportunity to learn how finance operations work inside a project-based agency, while helping our Spookies with their finance questions along the way.
This is a full-time internship of 32–40 hours per week, for 6 months with a start date in mid-September 2026.
What you'll do
Support the processing of purchase invoices, sales invoices and payments via our bank accounts
Help monitor and check general ledger administration and suspense accounts
Assist with preparing weekly payments
Support periodic closures and reporting
Act as a point of contact for simple finance questions from our Spookies, under guidance
What you'll bring
You are:
Currently studying in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Based in the Netherlands, enrolled in a university in the EU (throughout the entire internship period), and in possession of a Dutch BSN
Available 32–40 hours per week, and happy to join us in the Amsterdam office at least 3 days a week
Interested in agency life and project-based work
Accurate, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
A great communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
Thriving in a lively, social and diverse environment
Familiar with Dutch laws and regulations (a plus, but not required)
