About the role

At FrieslandCampina Consumer Dairy Netherlands, we are looking for an Account Manager within the Superunie, Hard Discount, Private Label and Cheese Team. this role you will be responsible for the total Branded Portfolio of key retail customers (Superunie, Lidl and Aldi e.g.).

What you'll do

Customer relationship / plans • Leads the development and maintenance of a strong business relationship with the customer, based on strong strategic, tactical and operational partnership, agreed common goals, in-depth understanding of the category and customer. • Partner with customer to grow & build our business at Superunie, Lidl and Aldi. You will be responsible for brands such as Campina, Optimel and Chocomel. • Conduct analyses of commercial opportunities. Trade terms and spending guidelines (P&L Management) • Makes necessary information available to assist the Group Account Manager and director in establishing adequate guidelines for trading terms with customers. • Is responsible for P&L and reports performance to internal stakeholders. Tracks sales and spending performance weekly and takes corrective actions if not in line with expectations. • Track and drive financial (NS /MS) & volume performance targets.

• Takes care of the sales forecast for all categories within the customer group, participates in the agreed supply and demand cycle meetings of the OpCo: manages forecast / availability. • Co-create & execute strategic account plan (with a 1-year outlook) and budget that emphasizes the strategic directions and commercial opportunities at the customer for FrieslandCampina. The identified opportunities must be in line with the commercial plans of both FrieslandCampina and the customer. • Responsible for customer service in consultation with the logistics account manager. Annual customer plans • Develops a long-term plan together with the customers to make a FC Joint Business Plan (JBP). Assesses results based on JBP. • Ensures consistency between the category customer plan and the Shopper Marketing plans. Promotional Plan for the customer • Develops optimal promo plan and ensures that the promotion plan is deployed at the customer in accordance with the promotional strategy, investment budget and planning. • Monitors the development of customer specific initiatives (including assortment, pricing, shelf layout, in-store merchandising, promotions and new product introductions) - generates adequate internal knowledge development and feedback.

What you'll bring

Bachelor/ Master degree preferably in Business Management or Marketing Management and > 5 years of commercial experience (B2C) in account management, trade or brand marketing; Product, Category and Customer knowledge; P&L management knowledge; Proficient negotiations and persuasive selling skills; Being data driven and have analytical skills; Being able to establish connections both internally and externally and build win-win relationships; Advanced business planning & implementation skills (Project Management); Excellent communication skills (both Dutch and English) and presentation skills.

Salary between €4,550 and €6,000 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role. A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme. Hybrid working with flexible working hours, a train card and you are entitled to a company lease car. 200 hours of annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 40 hours.
