As Culinary Specialist QSR, you'll develop innovative applications, support major quick service restaurant accounts, and bring new concepts from idea to implementation. Work at the intersection of culinary expertise, consumer trends, and commercial growth while collaborating with global partners and customers. This position sits at the intersection of culinary creativity, innovation and commercial growth. One day you may be developing and testing a new beverage concept with R&D the next, presenting an innovative dessert platform to a major international restaurant chain. Your work will directly influence products and menu concepts that reach millions of consumers across Europe while helping customers grow their business and strengthening FrieslandCampina Professional's position as a trusted partner in the QSR industry.
What you'll do
As Culinary Specialist QSR, you will help drive growth of FrieslandCampina Professional within the Quick Service Restaurant channel by turning consumer trends and customer needs into scalable food and beverage solutions. You will work with leading international QSR customers such as McDonald's, KFC, Burger King and Starbucks, supporting menu innovation, product development and customer growth across multiple European markets.Working closely with Channel Managers, Sales, Marketing, R&D, TSS and external partners, you will develop and validate applications in desserts, beverages and savory QSR solutions. You will support customer innovation projects, create inspiring concepts and recipes, deliver demonstrations and trainings, and provide technical expertise to optimize product performance. Your day-to-day activities include: Developing menu concepts, applications and limited-time offers for QSR customers. Supporting new product development through testing, validation and culinary insights. Monitoring consumer, category and competitor trends and translating them into business opportunities. Creating inspiring content, recipes and application ideas for customers and commercial teams. Delivering customer workshops, demonstrations, trainings and launch support. Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to strengthen FrieslandCampina's position as a trusted partner. The impact of your work is visible every day: from helping launch a new beverage platform for a coffee chain, to creating a dessert concept that can be implemented across hundreds or even thousands of restaurant locations. By combining culinary creativity with technical expertise, you will help customers grow their business while strengthening FrieslandCampina Professional's presence in the QSR channel.
What you'll bring
3+ years of experience in foodservice or QSR environment An intermediate culinary degree with strong culinary expertise in: ice cream & desserts, beverages and savory QSR applications (burgers, sandwiches, snacks) A Bachelor and/or Master in a food innovation type of study is a plus Strong understanding of QSR operations and scalability Excellent communication and influencing skills Creative, proactive, and commercially driven English fluency is required This role requires frequent travel and offers flexible working hours

Salary between €3,900 and €5,250 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and fit for the role. A work week of 32 to 38 hours, a 5% year-end allowance, 10% company bonus, 8% holiday allowance and a pension scheme. Hybrid working with flexible working hours, a train card and/or €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way). 200 hours of annual leave, with the option to buy or sell up to 40 hours.
