Currently we have an intern position available in the Direct Materials team for Category Procurement for FrieslandCampina.This position will give you the opportunity to experience Category Procurement dynamics for Packaging at a global level, being part of a truly international team. What you'll do
During your internship, you will join the Global Procurement Packaging Team and will support with: Supporting in building Costing Models for various Packaging categories Support in tender processes Support on structuring spend data and category analysis Improve contract and quality control compliance Work on improvement projects that touch the category or a broader procurement topic In this role, you will work on building cost models, analyzing cost breakdowns and identifying key value drivers within the packaging supply chain. You will support the team in preparing negotiations, assessing supplier proposals and tracking savings initiatives. You will also closely collaborate with Finance on budgeting and financial analysis to ensure alignment with category targets.As part of the Procurement function, you will work cross functionally with teams such as R&D, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing at a global level. In addition, you will gain exposure to external stakeholders including strategic packaging suppliers, giving you insight into market dynamics and supplier strategies
What you'll bring
Last year bachelor student or master student in a relevant field Availability from September on, preferably for a period of 4-6 months You take responsibility for your work and are continuously looking for new opportunities to make a change. Someone who likes to be in an international environment, therefore it’s important that you’re fluent in English. You are a team player with a positive can-do mindset, eagerness to learn and strong analytical skills
