Senior Category Manager Logistics & Packaging Europe

Job title: Category Manager Logistics & Packaging Europe Location: Maastricht, Netherlands (or other European location)

Develop, implement, monitor and realize the sourcing strategy for the Logistics & Packaging category within company requirements and guidelines, ensuring delivery of agreed business objectives with Business Units and Group Functions while contributing to the overall success of dsm-firmenich ANH SolCo.

Develop and maintain the category strategy and implementation roadmap for Logistics & Packaging in Europe. Lead deployment of category strategies and prioritize procurement initiatives across the region. Prepare and lead fact-based negotiations, supplier selection activities and contract management processes. Manage procurement initiatives in close alignment with stakeholders, business functions and procurement colleagues. Build, develop and manage strategic supplier relationships and ensure effective Key Supplier Management (KSM), including contract compliance and performance monitoring Drive knowledge sharing, collaboration and standardization across procurement teams by providing category expertise and promoting procurement best practices. Contribute to the development of dsm-firmenich ANH SolCo indirect procurement strategies and continuous improvement initiatives. Strengthen procurement's profile and value proposition within the stakeholder community. Support cost reduction, cash optimization and responsible sourcing objectives.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement or a relevant business environment. Extensive experience in logistics, warehousing or packaging sourcing. Experience within international and multicultural environments. Fluent English; additional languages are advantageous. Category management expertise. Strategic thinking and execution. Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities. Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills. Negotiation and demand management expertise. Entrepreneurial mindset and strong ownership.
