Examples include student recitals, concerts, final) exams, workshops, masterclasses, project weeks, open days and other music productions and experiments. The producer serves as the first point of contact for students, teachers, programme coordinators, and third-party stakeholders. The Producer will manage multiple projects at once, execute smaller projects independently, and collaborate with the lead producer on large-scale projects. The producer will report directly to the Head of Classical Music/Deputy Director and work closely with the teachers, producers from the classical music, jazz and pop departments, whilst maintaining strong relationships with the communication, service, student administration, scheduling and booking departments. Profile HBO or equivalent level of thinking (equivalent of a higher vocational degree/UK Foundation Degree) Experience organising and/or managing (complex) projects in the music industry; Experience as an event organiser or producer; Affinity with or interested in the (inter)national classical music scene; Communicative, proactive, analytical, and a problem-solver; An eye for detail, ability to put things into perspective, and a sense of humour; Willingness to work outside office hours (evenings and weekends); Accurate in handling administrative tasks; experience with Microsoft Office; Strong command of English (spoken and written); Dutch proficiency is a plus but not a requirement for this position; Located within commuting distance of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Het biedt daartoe bachelor- en masteropleidingen in klassieke, jazz en popmuziek, de Nationale opleiding voor jong toptalent (Sweelinck Academie) en een docentenopleiding. Met dit complete aanbod vormt het CvA niet alleen een volledige afspiegeling van het actuele muzieklandschap, maar speelt het ook een actieve rol in het vormgeven van het nationale en internationale muziekleven, nu en in de toekomst. Het CvA heeft een excellent docentencorps, een populatie van ongeveer twaalfhonderd studenten en maakt deel uit van de Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten. The Conservatorium van Amsterdam (CvA) educates musicians at the highest level, to prepare them for for the national and international professional field. To this end, it offers bachelor's and master's degree programmes in classical, jazz, and pop music, a national training programme for young talent (Sweelinck Academy), and Music in Education programmes. With this comprehensive range of programmes, the CvA not only fully reflects the current musical landscape but also plays an active role in shaping national and international musical life, both now and in the future. The CvA boasts an excellent faculty and a student body of approximately 1,200, and is part of the Amsterdam University of the Arts. Terms of employment The CvA offers pleasant working conditions at a beautiful location, centrally situated in Amsterdam. The position is graded within salary scale 8 (maximum € 4,595.29 gross per month for full-time employment). Appointment and remuneration are in accordance with the CAO-HBO. The salary scale is based on education, experience, and last earned salary. This role is a temporary appointment (1fte) from 15 September 2026 to 30 April 2027.
