About the role

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer in our Development Services team. In this role you will design, implement, and roll out standardized CI/CD pipelines across multiple product teams and regions. Do you want to play a key role in the platform transition from Jenkins to GitLab CI/CD , and in enabling secure, scalable deployments on Red Hat OpenShift and AWS-based platforms? What you'll do

In your position as DevOps Engineer you have the following responsibilities: CI/CD & Pipeline Engineering Design, implement, and maintain standardized CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD Migrate from bitbucket & Jenkins, AWS CodeCommit & Code Pipeline to GitLab Maintain and support Jenkins pipelines during the transition and decommissioning phase Continuously improve build, test, and deployment automation Infrastructure & Automation Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK and automation scripts Encourage and build automation wherever feasible Integrate monitoring and logging solutions (e.g. Splunk) into delivery pipelines Security & Compliance (DevSecOps) Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning) Ensure pipelines comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements Support audit‑ready pipeline designs and evidence generation Collaboration & Enablement Actively support development teams during migrations and onboarding Deliver training sessions and workshops on pipelines, GitLab, and DevOps practices Share knowledge and best practices across product teams and regions GitLab Platform Enablement Contribute to GitLab usage standards, pipeline templates, and best practices Integrate GitLab with enterprise tooling (e.g. artifact repositories, security scanners, observability) Apply Git workflows, branching strategies, and merge‑request standards (trunk‑based development with feature toggles) OpenShift & Cloud Platforms Deploy and operate applications on Red Hat OpenShift (private cloud platform) Support deployments on AWS‑based platforms (e.g. ECS/Fargate) Ensure scalability, availability, and security of containerized workloads Collaborate with cloud platform teams and architects on migration solutions

What you'll bring

Your nature is to take ownership and act in the driver seat, not waiting until others tell you what to do. You have a strong engineering mindset and problem‑solving skills. You're flexible, adaptive, and eager to continuously learn. You're known for your excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. And you are able to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization, including senior management/stakeholders across regions and cultures. As we are a global company, global collaboration and communication is key (incidentally also outside EU business hours). On top you match the following hard skills: Strong hands‑on experience with GitLab CI/CD Experience maintaining or migrating Jenkins pipelines Proven experience with Red Hat OpenShift (deployments, scaling, networking, security) Solid understanding of Docker and containerization Strong Git knowledge and modern branching strategies Scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash) Experience working in complex, distributed enterprise environments Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field We Offer We believe it is important to be a good employer.
