About the role
Datacenter Operations Engineer – Infrastructure team , Haarlem Are you passionate about datacenter infrastructure? Do you want to boost your career at a large cloud provider? If so, I have good news, we are looking for a Datacenter Operations Engineer. This is a hardware-focused role for our day-team in Haarlem, providing colocation, bare metal and cloud services.
You will be responsible to assemble, deliver and maintain Datacenter infrastructure (hardware, software and connectivity) of internal and external customers. You will be also responsible for the quality of all technical aspects within the Datacenter Operations team.
What you'll do
Deploy and maintain dedicated racks, colocation spaces, and other critical infrastructure. Manage hardware and software updates to ensure optimal performance. Handle hardware recovery, troubleshooting, and testing. Oversee hardware and spare parts replacements. Resolve technical support tickets and collaborate closely with Level 1 support. Maintain detailed documentation based on client and company requirements. Support projects related to provisioning new infrastructure. Coordinate with other datacenter teams within Leaseweb to ensure seamless operations.
What you'll bring
You have an IT background and you know how a datacenter environments: Experience with rack building, maintenance, and cabling. Ability to communicate effectively both internally with different teams and departments as well as with customers A problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach. Basic knowledge of networking concepts is a plus. You need to be eligible to work in the Netherlands and you have a valid driver license

The salary for this position ranges from 34.000 Euros to 41.000 Euros annually (including the holiday allowance), depending on your experience and skills.
