About the role

S&OP Process Governance, System & Framework Establishment Design, streamline and continuously optimise the end‑to‑end global S&OP process, build the overall institutional framework, formulate relevant SOPs, meeting rhythms, role‑responsibility matrix and control mechanisms for global and regional S&OP activities. Drive process roll‑out across all regions; identify process gaps, design preventive and corrective measures, and conduct process training for cross‑functional stakeholders. Own S&OP meeting cadence: run monthly global S&OP executive review, pre‑S&OP working sessions, demand review, supply review and reconciliation meetings; prepare meeting agendas, materials, track action items and ensure closure. Establish and maintain S&OP‑related master data standards (demand master data, product segmentation, inventory policy parameters, forecast attribute definitions), collaborate with IT to embed S&OP logic in ERP / planning systems. Demand‑Supply Balancing & Global S&OP Execution Lead the integration of bottom‑up regional sales demand input and top‑down business targets; facilitate consensus demand forecast across sales, marketing and finance. Evaluate global supply constraints including production capacity, raw‑material availability, manufacturing lead‑time, logistics bottlenecks and warehouse capacity; conduct supply feasibility assessment against consensus demand. Conduct scenario‑based what‑if analysis for new product launches, promotion plans, seasonality, supply disruptions, material shortages and long‑haul logistics lead‑time changes. Resolve global demand‑supply mismatches; drive allocation decisions for constrained products, align with regional stakeholders on order fulfilment priority. Inventory & Working‑Capital Optimization Define global inventory policy framework including safety‑stock targets, min‑max parameters, slow‑moving / short‑expiry inventory management rules aligned with financial KPIs. Monitor global inventory health, ageing stock, shelf‑life risk and OTIF performance via S&OP review; push relevant teams to take mitigation actions for excess and at‑risk inventory. Bridge S&OP output with finance planning: align forecast, inventory projection, COGS and working‑capital assumptions, support annual supply‑chain budget rolling forecast. Performance Monitoring, Reporting & Continuous Improvement Build S&OP KPI dashboard covering forecast accuracy, bias, inventory turnover, service‑level / OTIF, working capital, constraint‑order backlog. Analyse root‑causes for forecast deviation, supply shortfall and inventory exceptions; drive continuous improvement initiatives for demand planning, supply responsiveness and cross‑functional collaboration. Conduct periodic internal S&OP health assessment; identify process loopholes, update institutional framework and SOPs accordingly. Cross‑Functional & Regional Stakeholder Coordination Act as core S&OP facilitator between global supply chain, regional commercial / sales & marketing, production, procurement, logistics, finance, QA/RA and local market subsidiaries. Drive alignment on new‑product introduction (NPI) supply readiness, end‑of‑life product phase‑out planning within S&OP cycles. Escalate material shortages, capacity bottlenecks and major demand‑supply risks to Global Supply Chain Director and senior leadership with recommended resolution options. Your skills and experience Education Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, International Business, Logistics or a related field; MBA is preferred. Experience 5‑8 years progressive experience in S&OP, demand‑supply planning in global multinational environment. Direct working experience in pharmaceutical / medical device / aesthetic industry is required. Hands‑on experience in building S&OP process framework, drafting SOPs, rolling‑out S&OP governance across multi‑region organizations. Solid track‑record of cross‑functional facilitation, running S&OP review meetings and driving action‑item closure. Technical Knowledge Expert knowledge of full‑cycle S&OP methodology: demand review, supply review, reconciliation, executive S&OP. Deep understanding of forecasting techniques, inventory optimization, scenario planning and working‑capital management. Familiar with global medical‑device supply‑chain characteristics including batch production, shelf‑life / expiry management, NPI and product phase‑out. Practical experience with ERP & planning systems (SAP IBP / APO, Oracle or equivalent S&OP planning tools). Strong capability to build KPI dashboards and analyse forecast accuracy, inventory and service‑level metrics. Language & Soft Skills Fluent in English (written & spoken). Excellent process‑design capability, systematic thinking and attention to detail. Outstanding cross‑functional influencing, facilitation and conflict‑resolution skills; able to drive alignment without direct authority. Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis capability. Ability to operate in fast‑paced, multi‑cultural global environment, manage multiple competing priorities.
