Job Title: Electrical Maintenance & Utility Manager Req Id: 739 Business area: Sustainability Job Level: Senior Job Location (Short): Mahuva, GJ, IND, 364295 Location: NSDL, Mahuva Job Req ID: 739 Join our amazing team and contribute as a: Electrical Maintenance & Utility Manager Position: Electrical Maintenance & Utility Manager Department: Engineering / Maintenance Industry: Food Processing Industry Location: Mahuva, Bhavnagar, Gujarat-364295 Reporting To: Manager Production / General Manager Job Purpose To lead and manage all electrical maintenance and utility operations of the food processing plant, ensuring maximum equipment availability, reliable power supply, preventive maintenance, energy efficiency, safety, and compliance with statutory requirements.

Manage complete electrical maintenance activities of the plant, including HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, HT/LT panels, MCC, PCC, APFC panels and power distribution systems. Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of motors, VFDs, control panels, DG sets, compressors, pumps and other electrical equipment . Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns and improve equipment reliability. Monitor and maintain HT/LT power distribution, electrical protection systems, earthing and lightning protection systems . Manage DG sets, solar power systems and other utility-related electrical systems . Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations. Identify electrical energy-saving opportunities and implement energy conservation and efficiency improvement projects . Lead electrical breakdown analysis, root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions. Manage electrical projects, equipment installation, commissioning and modification activities . Prepare technical specifications, evaluate quotations and coordinate with vendors for procurement of electrical equipment and spares . Maintain adequate inventory of critical electrical spares and consumables. Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards, statutory requirements and company safety procedures . Conduct regular inspection of electrical installations and ensure safe working practices, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) . Manage and guide the electrical maintenance team, including technicians, electricians and contractors. Monitor maintenance KPIs such as breakdown hours, MTBF, MTTR, preventive maintenance compliance and maintenance cost . Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, equipment history, electrical inspections and statutory records. Coordinate with external agencies, electrical contractors and statutory authorities whenever required. Support plant expansion, modernization and CAPEX projects from the electrical engineering perspective. Ensure compliance with food industry hygiene, safety and operational requirements within engineering activities.

Bachelor's Degree Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Competency certification as applicable to statutory requirements will be an added advantage. Required Experience 8–12 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a food processing, Strong experience in HT/LT electrical systems, industrial maintenance and utility operations . Experience in managing electrical maintenance teams and contractors.
