HSE Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced HSE Supervisor to join our construction project in Hung Yen, Vietnam. This position starts in July through the end of November, with the possibility of extension. The role will be based full-time on-site in Hung Yen, Vietnam, where you will play a key role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout the project.

Develop and implement the Project Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Plan in coordination with contractors. Admit and report all HSE-related matters to onsite HSE Manager/ Country HSE manager/ Construction Manager, and advise project management on compliance. Implement, and manage the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system on-site. Review Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and risk assessments submitted by contractors. Ensure full compliance with local HSE regulations, labor laws, and corporate HSE standards. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and drive continuous improvements. Coordinate and conduct regular HSE compliance audits and site inspections of construction operations. Liaise with Clients and local authorities regarding HSE requirements and regulations. Engage, coach, and mentor contractors and site leaders to foster a proactive safety culture. Prepare and facilitate safety meetings, safety induction training, toolbox talks, and promotional HSE campaigns.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of working experience in the construction field. Proficient knowledge in developing and implementing Health, Safety & Environment Management Systems. Proven experience in establishing HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines. Strong expertise in conducting risk assessments, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and contractors’ management. Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong leadership and team management capabilities. Good in English and Vietnamese (both spoken and written). Computer literacy (MS Office, HSE reporting software, etc.).
