🚀 Senior Business Analyst / Python Developer – Regulatory & Asset Management 📍 Amsterdam | 🇳🇱 Dutch-speaking | ⏱ 6 months + extension | 💼 Contract Are you a Business Analyst with strong Python skills who enjoys working where technology, data and financial regulation come together? We’re looking for a hands-on professional to join a Regulatory team within Asset Management , working on important regulatory topics including DORA, MiFID, EMIR, SFDR and Market Abuse Regulation . 🔎 What will you be doing? You’ll work closely with business teams to: * Analyse and map regulatory requirements and processes * Assess chain impact across the investment/financial chain * Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions * Work hands-on with Python to analyse and build solutions using data * Help shape new processes and solutions from the ground up * Bridge the gap between Business Analysis, regulatory requirements and development This is a role for someone who doesn’t just want to document requirements – you want to understand the data, write code and build the solution yourself. 💡 What are we looking for? * Strong Business Analysis background * Solid, hands-on Python development experience – essential * Experience with compliance, regulatory or financial services environments * Comfortable working at a DOE4 / senior level * Understanding of Asset Management and financial products is a strong plus * Affinity with the investment chain * Proactive, analytical and comfortable working in a changing environment * Someone who enjoys pioneering and building new solutions * Fluent Dutch + English 📌 The opportunity Location: Amsterdam Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension Hours: Full-time Contract: External / freelance You’ll join a ~12-person Regulatory team consisting of both internal and external specialists, working on complex and highly relevant regulatory challenges within Asset Management.
