Senior Consultant, Customer Innovation

As a Senior Consultant at Cheers Interactive you will be working closely with our clients (senior executives in Fortune 500-type organizations) in collaboration with Cheers’ sales professionals and research and delivery leads. You will be challenged to help our clients uncover the “why” behind the “what” and then work with our domain experts to design projects and propositions that draw on our full capability set to address that client need. After helping a client procure our services, you will play a critical role as the client advocate to ensure that the engagement satisfies the client need fully. You will have the opportunity and responsibility to build and nurture long-term relationships between Cheers and its clients while working in an entrepreneurial environment in our rapidly-growing European operations. Responsibilities and Function Description: Customer Innovation Working with and contributing technical/industry knowhow and business expertise to specific sales units towards increasing sales revenue in target domains/industries Play an integral role in design of client-specific value proposition that builds on a thought-partner-type discussions with the client Pitch for business along with the sales team and exhibit domain knowledge/Cheers capabilities in client meetings to secure deals Collaborating with global research teams/Practice Heads/Project Heads for pitch-specific support and engagement execution. Play an integral role in account mining - develop account penetration strategy/plan along with the sales team for specific client accounts Focus in building ongoing contractual business with clients Client Engagements Act as an Engagement lead in executing strategic/critical/high value projects while working with the global research team Attributes and Qualifications : We are looking for individuals who have experience in a fast-paced consulting environment. You will have worked with corporate business and technology leaders to diagnose the client’s strategic challenges, design win-win propositions, execute efficient tasks in a collaborative environment, and deliver high-quality research-based recommendations that drive action. Science/Engineering educational background required (M.S/PhD preferred) 3 to 7 years of experience in a consulting environment, with at least 2 to 5 years in a client-facing role Ability to demonstrate strong grasp of the business dynamics and techno-economic forces in one or more relevant industry segments (Energy, Chemicals & Materials, Power & Utilities, Food & Beverage, FMCG, Automotive, Industrial, Electronics, Healthcare) Excellent communicator and feel comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels; Strong presentation and facilitation skills Strong analytical / conceptual thinking skills Structured way-of-working and the ability to rise to the challenge when tackling complex problems Ability to apply technological know-how with strategic business analyses in order to achieve results Results oriented, pragmatic, and experienced with project management tools and techniques Team player with a demonstrated history of consensus building Organizational and cultural sensitivity are a must.
