About the role
As our Technical Product Specialist - Broadcast & HbbTV, you’ll drive the development, strategy, and execution of HbbTV features on our Smart TV OS. You'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, content, and industry partnerships—ensuring our platform meets evolving market demands and regional content needs.
What you'll do
Drive TV broadcast and HbbTV Features: Guiding the product roadmap and implementation of the required TV broadcast and HbbTV features on our Smart TV OS. Customize for Regions : Ensure content meets regional needs and complies with broadcasting standards. Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with product, engineering, QA, and content teams. Represent the Company : Attend industry events, present our capabilities, and gather insights. Improve & Report : Monitor performance, gather feedback, and track progress with clear reporting. Qualifications Experience : 5+ years in HbbTV or interactive TV tech with a strong technical foundation (Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field). Tech-Savvy : Knowledge of HbbTV standards, Smart TV platforms, and QA processes. Great Communicator : Able to simplify complex topics for diverse teams and stakeholders. Industry Aware & Networker : Familiar with the HbbTV ecosystem; existing broadcaster contacts are a plus. Willingness to travel frequently to attend industry events and meet with stakeholders.
