About the role
The team! You will be part of a dedicated team consisting of account managers, sales engineers, project managers, project engineers, and field engineers. This team is responsible for selling and delivering projects to our customers from start to finish. The goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. You report to the Head of Projects and Field Engineering and will be based in Northern provinces in the Netherlands. These are your tasks and responsibilities. As a Field Engineer in the Projects Department, you will support the installation of maritime electronic systems on board ships. You will work on location on various vessel types, such as work vessels, cargo ships, and yachts. You will work with equipment such as radars, sonar systems, ECDIS chart systems, radio communication systems, and autopilots. In this role, you will develop your technical skills while contributing to safe and high-quality installations in the maritime environment.
What you'll do
You will: Install maritime electronic equipment on board based on technical drawings. Commission equipment and hand over completed systems to the customer. Coordinate your work on board with the customer and other parties working on the vessel. Work on a wide range of vessels, including work ships, cargo ships and yachts. Work with systems such as radar, sonar, ECDIS, radio equipment and autopilots. Represent Radio Holland professionally on site as the primary technical point of contact during your work. Commission systems successfully and hand over completed equipment to the customer. Coordinate on-board activities effectively with customers and other parties. What you'll bring
Required MBO-4 working and thinking level. Experience in a technical or industrial environment. Good command of spoken and written Dutch and English. A motivated, independent and accurate way of working, with a strong sense of responsibility. What You Can Expect From Us A challenging work environment.
