What you'll do
Forecasting
Reviews templates, consolidate analysis and presentation to enable the budget and forecast process
Reviews and completes more complex forecasting including the strategic long term model
Reporting
Reviews regular executive and operational report preparation and analysis process for financial and non-financial KPI’s (key performance indicators), completes more complex reporting initiatives
Business Partnering
Influences decisions made by leaders across the business (cross functionally) and work to understand the business needs and deliver on those needs
Financial Analysis
Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems
Control/Compliance
Completes purchase order approvals, new headcount approvals, and ensures regulatory compliance [i.e. SOX]
Sales Commission
Reviews and approves commissions and sales bonus
What you'll bring
Proven years experience in finance or related field preferred
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred
Master's degree (MBA) preferred · CPA/CFA certification preferred

As an FP&A Manager at Equinix, you will lead analysis and business partnering across Bookings, Capacity and Pricing, turning commercial and operational data into clear insights that shape forecasts, inform decision-making and support growth.
Act as the primary FP&A partner for bookings, capacity and pricing, building strong relationships across Sales, Commercial Finance, Sales Operations and Capacity Planning.
Own analysis of key commercial and operational metrics, including bookings, capacity utilization, fill rates, pricing movements and demand trends.
Translate performance trends into clear, forward-looking insights, highlighting risks, opportunities and recommended actions for senior stakeholders.
Support forecasting, scenario analysis and executive business reviews by connecting operational assumptions to financial and commercial outcomes.

Qualifications and competencies
Proven FP&A, business partnering or strategic finance experience
Strong analytical skills across financial, commercial and operational data
Able to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations
Confident partnering with senior stakeholders across Sales, Commercial Finance and Operations
Experience with planning, forecasting, reporting and scenario analysis
Commercially curious, proactive and comfortable challenging assumptions
Confident with Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and planning/reporting systems
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain performance drivers in simple business terms
