Rostudios is a fast-growing international fitness and lifestyle brand, and we are looking for a motivated Financial Accountant & Controller to join our Finance Team during an exciting period of expansion. With new studios opening across multiple countries and continued international growth ahead, this is a unique opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to step into a broad and impactful role early in their career.
As a Junior Financial Accountant & Controller, you will be responsible for the full accounting cycle of two countries (Netherlands and Belgium), supporting our month-end and year-end procedures, and preparing essential financial reports. You will also take ownership of the payroll cycle one country, ensuring accurate and timely processing. This role offers hands-on responsibility, exposure to international operations, and the chance to grow your technical and analytical skills within a dynamic, data-driven finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full accounting process for two countries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings
Support year-end audit activities and provide accurate documentation to external auditors
Oversee and execute the payroll cycle for one country, ensuring compliance and timely delivery
Prepare and maintain financial reports, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to connect financial outcomes to operational performance
Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and financial workflows
Contribute to the overall enhancement of the finance function as Rostudios continues to scale internationally
What you'll bring
2+ years of experience in accounting, financial control, or a similar finance role
Solid understanding of general accounting principles and month-end processes
Experience with payroll administration
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel
Experience with Exact or similar finance/accounting systems is a plus
Proactive, structured, and able to work independently in a fast-paced scale-up environment
Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
Living in the Netherlands
