Junior Data Analyst & Backend Engineer – Amsterdam, Netherlands

What you'll do
Develops and maintains Tableau and icCube dashboards to visualize business metrics, automate reporting, and ensure accurate, up-to-date data from PostgreSQL and Redshift. Collaborates with business and analytics teams to design insightful visualizations, define KPIs, and support ad-hoc analytical needs. Ensures data transparency and reliability by documenting dashboard logic, data sources, and contributing to consistent data pipeline maintenance. Implement backend (Django Rest Framework) feature tickets following existing design principles and dev guidelines, including documenting said features. Continuously improve and maintain data flows from the backend production database to BI reporting sets. Act as a point of contact for backend – data related questions and support other teams with backend related issues and requests.
What you'll bring
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field 1+ years of Python or other backend development experience 1+ years of SQL experience Experience designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems Experience with Postgres or Redshift is a plus Experience with Tableau is a plus Experience with AWS services and systems is a plus
Nice to have
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Process oriented with great documentation skills Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
