We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Service Manager, EMEA to lead our regional Technical Service organization. Reporting to the Director, Customer & Technical Services EMEA, you will oversee a team of Technical Service Managers responsible for post-sales technical support, service operations, warranty management, repair coordination, and customer escalation management. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines strategic thinking, people leadership, operational excellence, and customer advocacy. You will play a key role in developing service capabilities, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring outstanding support for our customers, dealers, and partners across EMEA. What you'll do

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Service Managers, fostering a high-performing and customer-focused culture. Drive operational excellence across the EMEA Technical Service function, ensuring efficient and effective support delivery. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service quality, customer satisfaction, and team performance. Analyze operational trends and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform business decisions. Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Warranty, and other cross-functional teams to resolve customer and product-related issues. Serve as the final escalation point for complex customer, dealer, and distributor issues. Oversee technical communications, service bulletins, field actions, and related customer-facing documentation. Support the development and execution of regional service strategies that enhance customer experience and dealer capability. Manage resource planning and workload allocation to optimize service responsiveness and effectiveness. Represent the EMEA Service organization in regional and global initiatives, providing technical service expertise and customer insights. Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

What you'll bring

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical, Scientific, or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing managers and/or multi-layered teams. Experience leading operations within a customer-facing technical support or service environment. Proven success developing high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and employee development. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels. Experience using performance metrics and KPIs to improve operational effectiveness and customer outcomes. Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer escalations and drive resolution. Strong understanding of technical support, warranty, and after-sales service operations. Experience working within a matrixed regional and global organization.

Nice to have

Experience managing departmental budgets and resources. Experience developing and implementing service improvement initiatives. Marine, electronics, manufacturing, or similar technical industry experience. Strong knowledge of customer service operations, case management, and reverse logistics processes. Proven track record of building effective cross-functional partnerships in a global environment. Working Conditions: Based on-site at the Navico Group office in Amsterdam. Combination of office-based leadership responsibilities and occasional customer-facing activities. Participation in escalation support and business-critical issue resolution as required. Travel within the EMEA region and occasionally internationally. The hiring range for this position is €83.000 - €113.750 annually (payable in 12,96 instalments). The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus in accordance with company policies, and a range of competitive benefits.
