Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in Data Modelling, Data Vault 2.0 and SQL. The candidate will work closely with Data Architects, Solution Architects and business stakeholders to design appropriate data models, translate business requirements into technical data solutions, and drive progress in situations where information may be incomplete.

Design and develop data models in collaboration with Data Architects and Solution Architects.

Develop and maintain Logical Data Models.

Translate Logical Data Models into Physical Data Models and vice versa.

Gather and analyse requirements from business stakeholders.

Translate business requirements into effective data modelling solutions.

Make informed technical decisions and drive progress when requirements or information are incomplete.

Collaborate with architecture and technology teams on data-related initiatives.

Support data integration and modelling activities where required.

Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

8–10 years of relevant experience

Extensive experience in Data Modelling

Strong expertise in Logical Data Models

Ability to translate between Logical and Physical Data Models

Strong SQL skills

Experience with Data Vault 2.0

Strong understanding of Data Concepts and Data Modelling

Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills

Experience gathering requirements from business stakeholders

Oracle SQL

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with data integration

Experience with data modelling in SAP-related projects

Knowledge of retail data entities, particularly:

Customer

Stock

Experience with dbt

Experience with BigQuery

Experience with GitHub
