Senior Cost Engineer

Senior Cost Engineer to develop, monitor, and control project costs, ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance across complex engineering projects. -

Develop and validate cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts in line with project scope and execution plans. Monitor and control project costs throughout the lifecycle, ensuring alignment with approved budgets. Analyse cost variances, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to mitigate financial risks. Consolidate and maintain accurate cost reports, KPIs, and performance metrics. Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to support decision-making. Challenge project assumptions and provide insights to ensure cost-effective project execution. Support change management processes, including cost impact assessments. Contribute to the continuous improvement of cost control processes and tools.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field. 5─10 years of experience in cost engineering, cost control, or project controls within engineering, construction, or oil & gas projects. Strong experience with cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting. Knowledge of project controls methodologies and cost management practices. Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments (EPC/Offshore preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency in cost control tools, Excel, and reporting systems. Professional certifications (e.g., AACE, PMP, CCE) are a plus!
