Royal HaskoningDHV B.V.
About the role
We’re seeking a BIM Specialist / BIM Modeler to author and coordinate discipline-specific and federate models across design and preconstruction. You’ll execute clash detection, maintain model standards (LOD, naming conventions, worksets), and produce coordinated documentation and data extracts aligned with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs). The ideal candidate combines technical rigor with constructability awareness—capable of translating design intent into coordinated, field-ready models and actionable quantities.
What you'll do
Develop and maintain discipline models in Revit/AutoCAD; structure families, parameters, and templates per BEP and office standards. Run coordination workflows using Navisworks/Revizto; manage clash sets, issue tracking, and resolution logs with design and trade partners. Implement BIM standards (LOD definitions, shared parameters, naming, worksharing); perform QA/QC and model health audits as defined in BEPs. Publish federated models on Common Data Environments (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Forma) with version control and approval workflow. Generate coordinated sheets, details, and schedules; extract BOQs/quantities and COBie deliverables for estimating and FM. Automate repetitive tasks using Dynamo/Grasshopper or APIs; document scripts and maintain a library of automation routines.
What you'll bring
Required Skills and Qualifications: 2+ years of BIM authoring and coordination experience across architecture, structure. Advanced proficiency in Revit (families, worksets, view templates). Familiarity with CDEs (Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360) and coordination with cloud-based issue trackers. Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of ISO 19650, LOD frameworks, IFC/COBie exchanges, and model QA/QC methodologies. Ability to interpret construction documents, shop drawings, and submittals; awareness of constructability and sequencing. Familiarity with CDEs (Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360) and coordination with cloud-based issue trackers. Clear communication and documentation skills—able to align with architects, engineers, GCs, and trade partners. Experience with Dynamo, Grasshopper, or Python for BIM automation and data wrangling. Exposure to Civil 3D, InfraWorks, or plant/industrial toolsets; 4D/5D integration experience.
