Health & Safety Specialist - UK & Global

We're looking for a Health & Safety professional to join our team in a role that links local expertise and global influence. Two key areas of focus, covering UK Regulation 7 competent person duties and supporting the global H&S management framework .

The role supports UK governance, legal compliance, assurance and risk escalation. It also contributes to global H&S policies, standards, programmes and improvement activities. UK Regulation 7, Competent Person and Governance - 50% of job role. Global H&S Framework Management  - 50% of job role. Assurance and Verification Coordination of the Distributed H&S Model Incident Governance, Learning and Improvement Accountable for intervening where health and safety concerns arise and escalate accordingly.

You will bring sound judgement, practical H&S expertise and the ability to balance UK legal compliance with global framework delivery. In this position you'll have to influence senior stakeholders. NEBOSH Diploma, equivalent Level 6 qualification or working towards. IOSH membership Incident investigation and ISO 45001 auditor experience desirable Significant H&S governance, compliance and assurance experience. Sector experience in engineering, consultancy or construction (preferable).
