Apply to Senior Electrical Engineer The Hague area Contracting For one of our clients in the energy transition industry, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer. Our client is a global engineering and technology company that specializes in large-scale energy and industrial infrastructure projects. It provides services including engineering, procurement, construction, and project management, with strong expertise in liquefied natural gas (LNG), petrochemicals, hydrogen, and carbon capture solutions. The organization plays a key role in supporting both conventional energy developments and lower-carbon technologies as part of the global energy transition. Job Summary As Senior Electrical Engineer, you have full responsibility for definition, budget preparation, calculation, quality definition, technical execution and material requisitioning of all Low Voltage & Medium Voltage Systems, including switchgear, motors, cables, transformers, VSD, electrical tracing systems, lighting systems, grounding systems, cable systems and cable routing systems. You handle projects as lead Electrical Engineer: organizational aspects of a project (manpower, planning) coordination of internal matters (technical sections, procurement planning and Project Manager) and discussions with external parties, both with Clients and Vendors. You handle proposals, preparation of hardware budgets, hours budgets, technical scope descriptions and execute discussions with Clients. Job Requirements General Tasks Is aware and cares for Health, Safety & Environmental aspects during daily actions, and drives HSE performance throughout project and or internal/ external services activities. Handle electrical engineering activities in projects and proposals. Execute projects as Lead Engineer Electrical (in case assignment by DM). Assist other Lead Engineer Electrical on projects as required. Specific Tasks Lead Engineer Electrical: · Contract Review and follow up. · Ensure incorporation lessons learned (Quality Deviation Lists, Quality Improvement Points). · Prepare basis of Electrical Design. · Ensure that electrical scope is fully executed. · Ensure adequate 2nd pair of eyes check. · Ensure project schedules and milestones are met. · Timely inform Project Manager and Manager Instrumentation & Electrical on delays, problems, etc. · Use Quantity Tracker Program (including timely update and informing of Project, · Procurement and Construction). · Ensure proper check of CAD 3D modeling. · Execute tasks defined for Electrical Engineer. · For more tasks and details, see Work Instruction WI0112-100 chapter 7. Electrical Engineer: · Preparation of hardware budgets and hour budgets for proposals. · Preparation of various technical documents: Area Classification, one line diagrams, control diagrams, electrical consumer and cable lists. Development of electrical tracing systems, lighting systems, grounding systems, cable systems and cable routing systems. · Preparation specifications and data sheets for Motors, transformers, LV/HV switchgear, VSD systems, UPS/DC systems, and other electrical components. · My care for Health & Safety is reflected in my daily actions · Preparation of requisitions, technical bid tabulations and vendor pint checking · Assist in inspections when requested by inspection department · Site assistance during construction, at the request of the construction department (special assignment). Education and Experience: · Education Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical (power) Engineering. · Work experience More than ten experience in a similar engineering role. · Language Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Interfaces · Frequent contact with various engineering disciplines, procurement department and project department. · Frequent contact with Electrical section of other TP offices (in case of project cooperation). · Regular contacts with construction, sales and estimating departments. · Regular contacts with clients and suppliers.
