Digital and AI Lead (Water and Maritime)

As Digital & AI Lead, you will drive the adoption and practical application of digital and AI solutions within our Philippines office, supporting our Advisory Group to deliver projects more efficiently, consistently, and innovatively. You will work closely with project teams, technical specialists, and regional stakeholders to embed digital tools and AI into day-to-day engineering and consultancy workflows. In this role, you act as a key link between the global Business Line strategy and local delivery, ensuring that corporate digital and AI ambitions are translated into tangible improvements in project performance, quality, and client value. You will collaborate with the Business Line Digital & AI Lead and contribute to regional initiatives, while focusing on local implementation and impact.

Responsibilities: In this role you will: Drive digital and AI adoption across the Water & Maritime Advisory Groups, translating strategy into practical initiatives that improve project performance, quality, and efficiency. Identify and prioritise high-value opportunities , supporting the development and scaling of digital and AI solutions that deliver measurable impact while avoiding duplication. Improve delivery through digitalisation , standardising workflows, increasing automation, and embedding AI into engineering and design processes where it adds value. Build capability and a digital culture , supporting teams through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing to strengthen skills and promote consistent use of tools and data. Collaborate regionally and support growth , working with Business Line and regional leads while helping teams position digital and AI solutions in client engagements and proposals Qualifications and Experience: To qualify for this role you should have: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field 8+ years’ experience in digital, data, AI, or technology-driven roles, ideally within an engineering or consultancy environment Proven experience delivering digital transformation, automation, or innovation initiatives with measurable impact Strong understanding of data-driven working, digital tools, and workflow optimisation in project environments Working knowledge of key platforms (e.g. Python, Power BI / Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, GIS, Autodesk, AI tools) Familiarity with information management standards (e.g. ISO 19650) Experience building digital capability and supporting the development of teams Profile and Competencies: To perform this role you should have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a forward-looking and innovative mindset Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams, disciplines, geographies, and senior stakeholders Strong communication and report writing skills, with the ability to translate technical topics into clear business value Commercial awareness and ability to act as a trusted business partner to project and management teams Proactive, results-oriented approach with ownership of delivery from start to finish Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Collaborative team player with a confident and engaging style Affinity with digital ways of working and continuous improvement
