About the role
The Technology department at our Veghel site — one of FrieslandCampina's largest plants — works on automation and data-driven optimization of our processes. We are looking for a Technology Specialist for the production of high-value proteins such as lactoferrin, caseinate and whey proteins. You contribute to improvements in safety, quality, yield, sustainability and cost. Are you passionate about process technology and data, and do you enjoy working with people at all levels? You will be part of a professional team of around 20 technologists. As a Process Technologist, your duties and responsibilities include:• Improving processes to enhance safety, quality, yield, sustainability, and/or reduce costs.• Leading (small) process improvements and root cause analyses of deviations.• Acquiring profound knowledge of operational processes and their interrelations within plants.• Leading and contributing to the site’s transition towards a more data-driven way of working, including setting important data standards in collaboration with R&D, the central Digital Team, and the central Technology department.• Supporting and advising internal and external stakeholders on process-related matters.• Embracing new ideas and sharing knowledge within FrieslandCampina to continuously improve processes.• A relevant Master’s degree, preferably in Process Technology or Process Engineering.• Some experience in the process industry, preferably within the food or pharma industry.• Ability to communicate at different levels and motivate stakeholders effectively.• Ability to lead small (non-Capex) projects or willingness to learn.• Solid communication skills in Dutch or English.• Strong planning and organizational skills.• A proactive attitude, taking ownership in analyzing and offering solutions.We also encourage young professionals who have just started their career to apply.
