Open role
Sr. International Expansion Operations Manager
Qogita EU B.V.
About the role
In Q3 2026, we expanded globally. We went from being a business with European supply serving European demand, to being a business with suppliers in Asia, MENA, and Europe serving demand in Europe, North America, and the GCC.
As Sr. Manager for International Expansion Operations at Qogita, you report to our Vice President of Global Supply and you will launch Qogita globally. We need an excellent operator who can solve 0-to-1 operations challenges, design new processes to scale, and then hand over mature playbooks to central operations teams before doing it all again. You’ll need to figure out how to make a global supply chain work.
What you'll do
Launch a DDP import service in 10 new countries over the next 12 months; you’ll own the operations and logistics P&L for each new country launch
Map the import and export requirements in each market: duties, VAT, importer-of-record liability, licensing, and restrictions
Select and onboard customs brokers, and build clearance processes that work at volume
Source and negotiate air, ocean, and road freight and warehousing in each market
Author market playbooks clear enough that someone who wasn't there can run the market without you (someone is a central ops team and/or an agent)
Work with product and engineering to build tooling that makes each launch faster than the last
Hire, manage and develop a team of interns and associates to support expansion
What success looks like
6 months: 3 markets live with landed cost unit economics at or below target, delivery time SLA at >90%, and a repeatable launch template
12 months: 10+ markets handed over, with each launch being faster and cheaper than the one before
What you'll bring
Base Qualifications
7+ years in operations, logistics, or supply chain, ideally in a start-up or scale-up with real physical operations
Experience launching or scaling an operation in a new country or region
Experience negotiating with freight, warehousing, or customs partners
Comfort with numbers: you can build a unit-economics model in a spreadsheet and query data in SQL
Strong project management: you've led complex projects across internal teams and external partners
The ability to learn an unfamiliar regulatory or operational area quickly and turn it into a process
Self-starter - you take initiative and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
Bonus Qualifications
Direct experience with customs, DDP, Incoterms, or freight forwarding
Experience in emerging or high-complexity markets (GCC, South East Asia, Latin America)
Languages relevant to our target markets

About the company
Qogita [Ko-gi-ta] is on a mission to make global trade radically efficient by building the operating system for modern wholesale.
Wholesale is a €50 trillion market still largely run through phone calls, catalogues and trade shows. Behind every product sits a fragmented chain of sourcing, trading and logistics that makes wholesale slower, more complex and expensive than it should be.
Qogita is changing this by connecting the global market into a single order book, building the rails to move products across borders efficiently, and providing the intelligence to help businesses know what to stock, what it’s worth and where it should go.
We operate across health and beauty in 30+ European markets, with ambitions to reach every category, everywhere. Backed by Accel, Bessemer, Dawn and LocalGlobe, we’re one of Europe’s fastest-growing B2B companies.
We’re an ambitious, pragmatic and highly collaborative team, united by a desire to reshape one of the world’s biggest markets.
