Fixed Asset Accountant

This organisation in Moerdijk provides temporary solutions in power , heating , cooling and oil-free air for customers in Northern Europe & DACH . The business is centred on continuity : from short-term projects (such as events ) to long-term deployments at industrial locations and remote sites . Within the region, additional reinforcement is needed because not all areas previously had sufficient fixed asset support . In Moerdijk, you are therefore a visible and important point of contact within Finance .

As Regional Fixed Asset Accountant – Northern Europe & DACH , you are responsible for an audit-proof Fixed Asset and Fleet administration and you are the regional point of contact for fixed-asset matters. You work in a matrix organisation with many stakeholders and support the month-end close and continuous improvement initiatives. Your tasks: Manage and reconcile Fixed Asset & Fleet registers , including general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers . Ensure correct processing of capitalisation , disposals and accruals , and resolve discrepancies (including coordination/alignment with the SSC ). Align with Fleet and Finance teams to keep registers consistent and improve reporting . Review and approve depreciation , reconciliations , accruals and exception reports , including statutory and tax requirements . Act as the first point of contact for stakeholders (including auditors ): provide clear analyses , documentation and follow-up . Contribute to upcoming projects with a strong focus on Fixed Assets ( FA expertise is key here). What you get Salary: €65,000 – €75,000 gross per year (preference €65,000 – €70,000 ), with potential flexibility slightly higher for the right profile . Bonus: 10% target ( 70% company performance / 30% individual performance; overperformance affects the individual portion). Extra: 8% on top of base salary . Hybrid working: usually 2–3 days in the office (sometimes more during closing ). Development: strong track record of internal growth ; access to training/education and exposure to regional scope , new markets and acquisitions . Practical: location is harder to reach by public transport ; having your own transport is a plus. What you bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance ( qualified/CPA is a plus; experience can compensate). At least 3 years’ experience in a similar ( international ) accounting role ; open to more seniority . Strong knowledge of Fixed Asset accounting and related processes ( purchasing , billing , intercompany ). Experience with ERP (including non-finance modules ); M3 is a strong plus. Clear, proactive communicator (many stakeholders , matrix organisation ). Data-driven , accurate and in control during month-end close . Basic knowledge of local tax/statutory requirements is welcome. Background in General Accounting / FP&A / Financial Analyst is suitable, provided FA knowledge is solid.
