As a Junior Sales Trader (RNG – US market), you will support the team in developing and maintaining relationships with counterparties including utilities, producers, aggregators, corporates, and industrials. You will assist in identifying opportunities, supporting trade execution, and contributing to the growth of the US RNG business. Working closely with senior traders, you will gain exposure to structuring transactions, market analysis, and client engagement. Performance is aligned with team objectives and individual development milestones. You will be responsible for products including RNG, RINs, renewable power and gas certificates, carbon offsets, and related environmental commodities. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Supporting communication with existing customers and helping manage ongoing needs. Assisting in outreach to new prospects to help build and maintain the customer database. Monitoring and analyzing market trends, supply/demand dynamics, and pricing drivers in the US RNG and environmental commodities markets. Supporting the creation and execution of deal structures aligned with client requirements and internal objectives. Collaborating with the trading team to help structure and manage transactions efficiently. To be considered for the role, you will ideally have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field 1–3 years of experience in trading, brokering, investment banking, consulting, or business development (US market exposure preferred). Strong interest in environmental commodities, particularly RNG and renewable fuels markets. Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow into a commercial trading role. Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to build rapport internally and externally. Comfortable working in a team-oriented, feedback-driven environment. Strong analytical mindset; Excel skills are a plus. Interest in building a career in energy transition and environmental markets.
