Required Experience & Skills We are seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to secure and optimize customers' identity platforms built on Microsoft technologies, including both on-premises and cloud-based environments. This position is critical in protecting sensitive business information, strengthening security posture, and ensuring adherence to security best practices. The successful candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise in the following areas: Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) , including: Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS/PKI) Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) DNS and DHCP Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) Microsoft Entra Connect and Cloud Sync Microsoft Defender for Identity Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support secure identity and access management solutions across hybrid environments. Provide expert guidance on identity and security technologies. Advise customers on security architecture, governance, and security best practices. Assess and mitigate identity-related risks through the application of security principles, protocols, and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable identity solutions. Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and security innovations. Qualifications Proven experience as an Identity & Access Management Engineer, Consultant, or Subject Matter Expert supporting enterprise environments (5-10 years of experience). Strong understanding of identity security principles, authentication, authorization, federation, certificate services, and hybrid identity architectures. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex identity and security challenges. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical and security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams and customer-facing environments. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with evolving security trends and technologies. Language Requirements Fluent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English are mandatory.
