Apply direct Grasp the opportunity Do you have a competitive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ambition to become a successful power trader? Are you ready to challenge yourself in one of the most volatile markets at the heart of the energy transition? The US power markets are highly dynamic, with electricity prices changing every five minutes across thousands of pricing locations. This creates a challenging environment where quick thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to make decisions under pressure are essential. As a Junior US Power Trader, you will join our young and ambitious US Power Trading team, where you will have the opportunity to learn, develop your skills, and make an impact from an early stage. Together with your colleagues, you will analyse constantly changing market drivers, identify trading opportunities, and develop strategies to benefit from market movements. Your challenge? Become a skilled power trader by developing a deep understanding of market fundamentals, learning to assess risk versus reward, and identifying and capturing trading opportunities. Your goal? Outperform the competition, make trading decisions that count, and continuously develop into a successful and independent power trader.

What you'll do

You will learn to work with our trading tools, analyse large amounts of market data, and develop trading strategies alongside experienced traders. After the first few months, you will begin testing your strategies in the market, gaining hands-on experience and learning directly from the results. No two days are the same. Successful trading requires mental flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to respond quickly to changing market conditions. Resilience is equally important: losses are part of trading, and not every strategy will succeed. What matters is your ability to learn from setbacks, improve your approach, and stay focused on the next opportunity. Select a tab We ask We like
