You will be part of the EMS team and work on building, maintaining, and scaling modern web applications and infrastructure hosted on DigitalOcean. Tech Stack & Environment Backend: Python Frontend: TypeScript, Vue Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL Infrastructure & DevOps: Docker, DigitalOcean Networking: OpenVPN What are you going to do? Develop and maintain backend services using Python Build responsive frontend applications using TypeScript and Vue Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL and MySQL databases Containerize applications using Docker Deploy and manage applications, droplets, databases, domains, and networking on DigitalOcean Configure and maintain secure VPN environments using OpenVPN Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

What are you bringing? HBO/WO working and thinking level 2–4 years of professional software development experience (in the energy sector would be a plus) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Strong experience with Python Experience with TypeScript and Vue Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL and/or MySQL) Experience with Docker and containerized environments Hands-on experience with DigitalOcean or similar cloud providers Experience in maintenance of existing cloud infrastructure Familiarity with OpenVPN and basic networking concepts Understanding of REST APIs and modern web application architecture Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills Professional communication in English or Dutch.

Knowledge of energy markets and optimization methods such as MILP Knowledge of cloud security best practices Experience managing production environments Basic Linux system administration skills This characterizes you: You are decisive, entrepreneurial, and persistent.
