What you'll do
You will: Install equipment based on technical drawnings Commission equipment and hand it over to the customer Coordinate your activities on board in consultation with the shipyard and other parties working on board Execute annual service to gyrocompasses, radars and other Navigation and Communication equipments Execute annual GMDSS Survey on behalf of Class Society and/or Flagstate What does success look like? What you'll bring
Required Technical degree in Electronics or Electro Technics Experience in a technical/industrial environment Proficiency in both Frensh and English, both spoken and written You like traveling (approximitaly 60 days/year) Preferred Vocational level of education and thinking Motivation, independence, precision and a strong sense of responsibility General Operator Certificate (GMDSS Equipment’s) How we hire Our hiring process is designed to be structured, fair and inclusive. About the company
In this role, you will be responsible for installing and commissioning maritime electronics on yachts. You will encounter a wide range of equipment, such as radars, sonars, chart systems (ECDIS), radio equipment and autopilots. At the shipyard, you will represent Radio Holland and coordinate with other parties working on board. This is a technical challenging role with a great deal of diversity and freedom in het maritime world. You will contribute to the Yachting team by delivering projects to our customers. The role sits within the Projects Department which consists of a Businsess Development Manager, a Service Coordinator and a Service Project Engineer, and reports to the Business Development Manager.
