What you'll do
You drive automation of service and control-related activities in order to reduce manual effort and increase consistency, traceability, and control maturity. You design and implement structural automation improvements in One Identity services that remediate deficiencies and improve the effectiveness of IAM controls. You work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and fellow engineers to translate findings into backlog-ready technical solutions that can be embedded in the squad’s way of working. Continuous improvement Continuous improvement is self-evident to you. You are critical of current processes, technical patterns, and manual workarounds, and you actively contribute to making IAM services more robust, scalable, and controllable. You take ownership for quality and understand that sustainable IAM delivery requires not only functional solutions, but also effective control design, technical transparency, and automation.
What's on offer
Salary : Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,994 and EUR 8,563 (scale 10) for a 36-hour work week . Extras : a thirteenth month, 8% holiday allowance, and a 10% Employee Benefit Budget. In this role, you make an important contribution by strengthening current One Identity services, improving control effectiveness, and helping automate the path from finding to sustainable remediation. You and your talent Academic working and thinking level, preferably with a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field. Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, or IAM Engineer in a complex IT environment. Experienced in automating and creating tools to support the software development life cycle. Results-oriented, critical thinker, problem-solver, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Familiar with SQA testing and methodologies, API and UI test automation and pipeline automation Strong hands-on experience with One Identity Manager and Identity Governance & Administration patterns. You are proficient in SQL and able to independently analyze, validate, and improve data quality, queries and control-relevant datasets within the One Identity landscape. You have a strong hands-on experience and are proficient in relevant supporting technologies such as SQL Server, APIs/web services, scripting and automation tooling, job services, data mapping, and system integrations within a complex IAM/IGA environment. Strong knowledge of IAM concepts and principles, including provisioning, deprovisioning, recertification, reconciliation, Segregation of Duties, RBAC, ABAC, PBAC, and API orchestration. Demonstrated experience in remediation and improvement of existing IAM services, rather than only greenfield development. Experience with automating manual service activities, control-related activities, or evidencing and monitoring processes. Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify root causes behind recurring technical or control deficiencies. Ability to translate technical and control findings into sustainable design and implementation improvements. Experience working in a regulated environment with high expectations on traceability, evidencing, and operational control. Strong communication in English is required. Able to work effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Risk & Compliance, architects, and engineers across squads. Comfortable operating in a setting where priorities are influenced by both service delivery and control maturity objectives. Strong judgment and decision making. Strong complex problem-solving skills. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to raise the maturity of others in the team.
