Develop new products and procedures for molecular DNA/RNA diagnostics Improve existing products, protocols, and procedures Analyze and interpret experimental results Organize and maintain the laboratory Work according to ISO 13485 standards
What you'll bring
Education : HBO or WO degree in Life Sciences or a related field. Work experience : 2-3 years. >1 year in a commercial setting is a plus. Technical skills: Experience with DNA/RNA extraction Experience with ELNs or quality management systems Experience with PCR and NGS (Illumina and/or ONT is a plus) Experience with liquid handling robots is a plus Strong attention to detail and quality Hands-on, independent attitude, while being a real team-player Excellent command of English (written and spoken). You currently live near Utrecht Science Park or are willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. To be considered for this position, you must be legally permitted to live and work in the Netherlands. Sponsorship for a work visa may not always be possible.
