Wheel Operations Support Specialist

About the role

As a Wheel Lacing Support Specialist, you play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of wheel lacing warranty requests. You support wheel builders and the wider Retail Support Team by maintaining high service quality, enabling fast turnaround times, and ensuring operational continuity.

In this role, you combine operational support, technical affinity, and warehouse coordination. You do not need to be an expert in wheel building yet, but you are motivated to develop this skill and actively contribute to the team when needed.

You will work closely with our third-party logistics (3PL) partner and manage part of our in-house warehouse operations in Amsterdam, ensuring product availability and accuracy.

What you'll do

Wheel Lacing Support

Reviewing incoming wheel lacing returns, validating retailer claims, and assessing component and rim condition against quality standards

Preparing wheel orders by selecting the correct hubs, packaging wheels, and creating accurate shipping labels

Communicating with retailers via our ticketing system, providing clear and timely status updates

Developing wheel lacing skills to support wheel builders and provide operational backup when required

In-house Warehouse Logistics

Processing inbound deliveries from the 3PL, ensuring timely and accurate stock availability

Performing weekly stock counts and maintaining high inventory accuracy

Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe

Technical Support

Performing basic maintenance and repairs on internal test bikes

Assisting in assembling and preparing sample bikes and wheel builds

Supporting product testing and basic troubleshooting of returned items to uphold quality standards

What you'll bring

Is hands-on and detail-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership

Has experience in warehouse operations, retail support, or a technical environment, with cycling industry experience as a plus

Has interest in wheel building, with motivation to learn wheel lacing

Has the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

Has strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately

Is comfortable working with tools such as Microsoft Office, CRM, and ticketing systems

Has clear and professional communication skills, both internally and externally

Has a technical affinity and willingness to perform basic repairs and testing

Has a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized working environment

Availability for 40 hours a week

Living in or close to Amsterdam

Legal right to work in the EU
