Senior Java Developer

Enable U is looking for a Senior Java Developer to strengthen our R&D team. As a Java Developer you will work on the development of our numerous cloud modules, which together constitute Cloud Integration Platform. You will work in a small team of highly motivated professionals, participate in sprint meetings and brainstorm sessions, write technical documentation, be involved in solving ongoing issues. Depending on your skills and desire you will also be involved in architectural decisions, in the improvement of our best practices and processes.

Develop cloud services in Java language Write JUnit tests Conform source code to quality requirements and standards Participate in architectural discussions and decisions Write technical documentation in English Participate in 3-rd level support related to accidents within your area of responsibility Perform alpha testing of source code Suggest improvements in technology or processes that could result in better results Analyze documentation and specifications to either implement corresponding standards or to assess whether existing code is compliant to them Work out technical functional requirements based on internal discussions and brainstorm sessions Support colleagues in their work whenever necessary Support healthy working communication with the colleagues from other departments Keep yourself up to date in technology trends Participate in coaching and mentoring of junior developers

3 or more years of work experience as a Java developer or in a similar position Hands-on experience with REST API and SOAP web services Knowledge of networking protocols, such as HTTP(S), (S)FTP(S), JMS, AMQP, IMAP/POP3/SMTP, ebMS, AS2/4 Extensive demonstrable experience with Java, REST, API’s and Git Hands-on experience with structured text formats, such as XML and JSON Hands-on experience with templating and scripting techniques, such as XSLT, FreeMarker, Groovy English level B2+ Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL Hands-on experience with non-relational databases (MongoDb) is a pro Necessary knowledge of dev infrastructure tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins Thorough knowledge of the backend systems Experience with Unit testing and/or integration testing is a must Knowledge or experience of SASS/LESS, Docker, CI/CD with GitLab will be a big plus Being multitasking, responsible and hard-working, solid analytical skills and high attention to details
