Consultant – Accounting and Finance Manager- Hybrid

RGP is seeking an experienced accounting and finance professional to partner with leading organizations on high-impact initiatives that strengthen financial operations, improve business processes, and support strategic transformation. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of engagements, collaborating with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to address complex accounting, finance, and operational challenges. The ideal individual is a trusted advisor who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, bringing a consultative approach to solving business problems and driving meaningful results

Finance transformation and process improvement projects ERP implementations, upgrades, optimizations, and integrations involving SAP or Oracle Carve-out, divestiture, separation, and integration activities would be helpful Internal and external audit support and remediation efforts a plus SOX compliance, risk management, and internal controls enhancement Month-end close optimization and accounting process improvements Financial planning, analysis, and operational finance initiatives Assessment and redesign of finance operating models and organizational structures Cross-functional projects involving accounting, finance, operations, and technology stakeholders Development of executive-level presentations, business recommendations, and project deliverables Management of project timelines, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field 10–20 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, advisory, or transformation roles Strong experience with enterprise ERP systems, including SAP and/or Oracle Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following: Financial Reporting Accounting Operations Audit Finance Transformation Controllership Internal Controls Carve-Outs Divestitures M&A Integration Shared Services Transformation Ability to navigate complex business environments and drive solutions with minimal direction Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience partnering with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders Consulting experience with a professional services, advisory, or consulting firm preferred Big 4 public accounting or advisory experience preferred CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification is a plus Ability to work onsite in Atlanta three days per week
