Medior Mechanical Design Engineer

Medior Mechanical Design Engineer 32-40 hours | location Delft Do you want to build innovative products that make a real impact? At VPInstruments, we develop state-of-the-art flow meter solutions for compressed air and industrial gases, empowering industries to measure and improve their energy efficiency. We are expanding and looking for a Medior Mechanical Design Engineer who combines a passion for mechanical innovation with strong technical expertise. You’ll work on high-precision instruments that operate in dynamic industrial environments.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar 3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design for technical or industrial instrumentation Solid knowledge of SolidWorks (parts, assemblies, and technical drawings) Experience with DFM/DFA, tolerancing, and manufacturing processes Hands-on experience with mechanical and functional testing setups and interpreting test data Basic working knowledge of electronics, software, and physics (e.g. fluid flow), and interest in multidisciplinary collaboration Experience with technical documentation and engineering change processes Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus) You work accurately, structured, and with attention to detail Available 32–40 hours per week Living within max 30 km of our office in Delft
