About the role
As a Process Control Engineer, you are the go-to expert for maintaining, optimizing, and improving process control systems. You apply your technical expertise with a solution-oriented mindset and collaborate closely with colleagues across various disciplines You will take full ownership of managing, enhancing, and maintaining automation systems to ensure peak performance. You proactively analyze issues, drive root-cause investigations, and deliver sustainable solutions. You provide expert advice and implement process optimizations that boost both efficiency and reliability. You lead and mentor external engineers, fostering collaboration and quality delivery. You work hands-on with a variety of PLC, DCS, and safety systems ( strong affinity for instrumentation is valued ).
What you'll bring
You are eager to take responsibility for technical projects and manage both internal and external stakeholders. You have at least 5 years of experience with DCS systems in the process industry. You have a strong affinity for learning about and working with instrumentation. Excellent command of English; Dutch is a strong plus.
