Project Lead Engineer E&I

The Job: You will design and engineer electrical equipment and instrumentation for small to medium-sized capital projects (up to €10MM). You will collaborate with our engineering partner to ensure compliance with codes and standards. You Develop and review specifications, data sheets, RFQs, and ensure optimal total cost of ownership. You will participate in all project phases: conceptual design, basic engineering, extended basic and detailed design, and commissioning. You will interface with disciplines such as planning, construction, procurement, maintenance, and operations. You will ensure that all installed equipment is reliable, compliant, and safe. You will lead quality assurance processes during project implementation.

About you: You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering. You have 7+ years of experience in the petrochemical industry. You have expertise in high/low voltage design and working knowledge of BPCS and SIS using IEC61511 standards. You have knowledge of flow, level, pressure, and temperature measurement principles and control valves. You have experience managing vendors and overseeing the manufacturing process (e.g., FAT/SAT). You are preferably Functional Safety certified. You are familiar with local and international industry standards and ATEX zone installations. You can write and speak English (preferably also Dutch)
