About the role
Your responsibilities: Analyzing the condition of installed E&I equipment in collaboration with production and technical teams Developing and maintaining long-term strategies for equipment maintenance Increasing equipment reliability and ensuring compliance with safety regulations Drafting procedures and work instructions Following up on audit findings, impact items, and MOCs Coordinating inspections of new, existing, and overhauled equipment Optimizing and budgeting maintenance plans and setting priorities Assisting in the preparation and execution of turnarounds and plant shutdowns
What you'll bring
About you: Completed HBO education or equivalent work experience in the field of E&I or similar Preferably experience in a maintenance environment 7 years of experience with E&I installations in the process industry Preferably experience with various safety regulations and standards (ATEX, SIL, and HAZOP) Excellent command of English, and Dutch is a plus

About the company
Focus Engineering is looking for a Reliability Engineer E&I for an end user in the Chemical industry in the Rotterdam region. You will be working for a globally operating chemical company that produces products for food and drinking water safety, healthcare, and fuel efficiency. They are heavily investing in the circular economy, green energy, and reducing emissions and waste. As a Reliability Engineer E&I, you will work in a multidisciplinary team of 7 other Reliability Engineers. Additionally, the internal maintenance team consists of 4 Planners, 2 Maintenance Specialists, and 2 Maintenance Coordinators.
