Azure Platform & Cloud Engineer

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform. Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards. Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products. Be a productive member of the team.

5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS). Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. Build, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep. Provision and manage Azure infrastructure services, including compute, storage, networking, and platform services. Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to automate application and infrastructure deployments. Configure and manage Azure API Management (APIM), including end-to-end setup from scratch. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Ensure platform security, governance, compliance, and identity management using Azure AD (Entra ID). Optimize Azure environments for performance, scalability, availability, and cost efficiency. Support application teams with deployments, troubleshooting, and platform-related best practices. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into Azure cloud solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and platform standards. Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep). Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation. Strong knowledge of Azure Networking, including VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, VPN, and related services. Experience with Azure compute and storage services. Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Strong understanding of Azure AD (Entra ID) and Identity & Access Management (IAM). Basic knowledge of Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is preferred. Hands-on experience in Azure API Management (APIM) setup and configuration from scratch. Ability to work closely with Dutch-speaking stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
