As a Regulatory & Technical Documentation Specialist, you are responsible for translating maritime laws and regulations into concrete requirements for our products and services. You support product development, engineering, and commercial teams by converting complex regulations into clear, actionable documentation and processes. In doing so, you directly contribute to safe, reliable, and certified solutions for our customers.You are someone who collaborates easily with colleagues and external parties. Your key responsibilities include: Monitoring, interpreting, and translating maritime regulations, guidelines, and standards (e.g., SOLAS, IEC, ISO) into concrete requirements for products and services. Supporting product development and engineering in ensuring timely compliance with new or amended regulations. Drafting, implementing, and maintaining compliance procedures, checklists, and internal guidelines for engineering, service, and sales processes. Advising the organization on regulatory risks, obligations, and opportunities. Coordinating and overseeing certification processes in collaboration with agencies, classification societies, and other certification authorities. Managing and maintaining the certification database. Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation, manuals, and product specifications to ensure regulatory compliance. Driving continuous improvement in documentation practices, compliance workflows, and regulatory monitoring. For this position, we require: Higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking Strong knowledge of maritime regulations, classification standards, and international certification processes Proficiency in Dutch and English Experience with document management systems is an asset Ability to translate complex regulations into clear, actionable guidelines Understanding of compliance, security, and data governance principles Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and a proactive attitude Wat krijg je hiervoor terug?
