Skip to content Mechanical design engineer Reports to: Mechanical team leader Job purpose: Design of the antenna’s structure for space applications Location: MetaSensing, Via Aniene 2, 20151, Milan, Italy Employment condition: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU.

• Mechanical design of the payload structure on a CAD software (Siemens NX) • Mechanical/Thermal system design and integration Required skills and qualifications: • Candidate must be eligible to work in the EU. • Minimum 3 years of experience in the field, ideally 5 years • Strong knowledge in CAD design • Knowledge in manufacturing of metallic parts standards and 2D drawings standards • Knowledge of solid mechanics • Understanding of the design process (from concept through to delivery and in-service support) • Good knowledge of the English language for the working environment • Good communication and team-working skills Desired Skills / Qualifications • Experience with Siemens NX (harness design is a plus) • Knowledge about space thermo-mechanical design (composite materials is a plus) • Ability to communicate clearly • Ability to follow a fast-paced design scenario • Ability to interact with manufacturers for the production phases Company Description: MetaSensing is an innovative Italian remote sensing company founded in 2008 with the aim of commercializing the new compact, high resolution radar mapping technology.
