About the role
Vacancy for HR Officer 16-24 hours a week Are you a HR professional with a hands-on approach, ready to make an impact in the water and sanitation sector? Aqua for All’s growing and dynamic team is seeking a HR Officer! We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who enjoys managing the HR chain so that people and processes can work smoothly. This position offers the opportunity to take charge of daily HR operations and play a key role in supporting our team and our mission to achieve SDG 6 — universal access to safe water and sanitation for all Main goal of the role In this role, you’ll play an integral part in maintaining and improving Aqua for All’s HR processes. You are the focal point for your colleagues related to HR lifecycle from recruitments to contracts, onboarding, mutations, leave, illness and end-of-contract. You are responsible for the HR administration of Aqua for All, supporting the team Leads with HR questions and practical support. We welcome a creative and inquisitive person, who will analyze our current HR processes and develop ideas for improvement. You’ll be based in The Hague and work with our international team, working closely with the Lead Finance & Operations. What you’ll do This exciting role reports to the Lead Finance & Operation and includes the following responsibilities: HR administration : Maintain the entire HR admin flow, supporting the employee lifecycle from contract, and mutations to exit. Support : Answer all HR related questions from staff and support the team leads, for example during performance reviews, contract extensions etc. Recruitment : Support the hiring managers to draft a vacancy text, attract and select the right candidate for the role. Onboarding : Make sure new candidates feel welcome, have all the tools and information they need to get started at Aqua for All. Process : Make sure that the HR processes are adhered to within the organisation and where possible signal and realise possibilities for improvement. Training : Organise team days and team week and administrate trainings Travel : Support your colleagues when they arrange their work travel. What we are looking for MBO 4 or HBO degree in HR, or a related field; Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in HR administration and reporting; Proficiency in HR software and tools – AFAS experience is a plus; Ability to work collaboratively with others by demonstrating flexibility and openness to diverse approaches; Strong writing skills and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
