Junior Compliance Officer

As a Junior Compliance Officer at Waypoint Port Services , you will support the company's compliance, due diligence, and corporate governance activities while providing essential administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of compliance processes. The role involves conducting KYC and due diligence reviews, maintaining compliance records, monitoring regulatory requirements, and supporting internal controls. In addition, you will assist with document management, reporting, record-keeping, and general administrative tasks that support the compliance and wider business functions. Additional Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the compliance function, maintaining records, preparing correspondence, and managing documentation. Assist with the preparation, organization, filing, and retention of compliance, corporate, and regulatory documents. Support the maintenance of corporate records, licenses, permits, certifications, and other regulatory documentation. Prepare reports, presentations, and compliance-related documentation as required. Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to collect information and documentation required for compliance activities. Manage compliance-related correspondence and ensure accurate filing and document control. Support special projects and administrative initiatives as assigned by management. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in compliance, KYC, due diligence, risk, legal support, corporate administration, or a similar role. Familiarity with compliance monitoring, client onboarding, document verification, and regulatory requirements is considered an advantage. Exposure to KYC/KYB processes, sanctions screening, AML controls, or corporate governance activities is desirable.
