Open role
Director, People Operations
Coda Netherlands Holdings B.V.
About the role
We’re looking for a Director of People Operations to lead and evolve Coda’s global people operations team. This role owns the backbone of operational excellence across the entire employee lifecycle from payroll and compliance to mobility, systems, offboarding, and onboarding - with a relentless focus on making every interaction with the people team quick, reliable, and seamless.
Reporting to the SVP of People, you’ll lead a global team supporting a workforce of 600+ employees across 20+ countries, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can roll up their sleeves, think strategically, and build for scale.
What you'll do
Lead, mentor, and scale a global people operations team that looks after:
HRIS administration and optimization (Rippling)
Payroll operations and vendor management
Employment compliance
Employee mobility, visas, and immigration processes
Day-to-day people operations and employee support (Jira)
Own the operations that power the employee experience across the lifecycle–define and meet SLAs for people ops requests, drive high CSAT, and optimize the employee journey from onboarding to offboarding
Design scalable processes, policies, and operating models that can grow with the business
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on people operations risks, tradeoffs, process improvements, and best practices
Ensure strong controls, documentation, and audit readiness across payroll, compliance, and employee data
Partner with leaders in other people-related areas as needed–e.g., employee relations, total rewards, talent development
Play a key role in M&A integration, including due diligence, employee data migration, payroll and compliance alignment, and change management
What you'll bring
8+ years of people operations experience, with a strong leadership track record of managing and developing distributed teams
Proven experience scaling people operations in a globally dispersed, mid-sized company (500–1,000 employees), preferably with some M&A experience
Proven ability to navigate and manage diverse employment laws, cultural nuances, and HR best practices across APAC and EMEA
Strong track record of building SLA- and CSAT-driven service models, with a mindset of operational excellence and employee satisfaction
Demonstrated success in influencing and driving action in a highly cross-functional environment, bridging cultures and teams across time zones
Strong strategic thinking skills paired with a roll-up-your-sleeves mindset
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Tech savvy, with experience using AI, Google Workspace, Slack, and a breadth of HRIS platforms (experience with Rippling is nice to have)
