Business Analyst, Manufacturing Analytics at a glance…. Kraft Heinz is seeking a driven and analytically minded Business Analyst to join our Global Centre of Excellence (GCOE) – Transformation team, focused on Manufacturing Analytics. In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between our manufacturing operations and our data & analytics capabilities — translating complex plant-floor challenges into scalable analytical solutions that drive measurable improvements in EHS, Maintenance and CAPEX Engineering spaces.
You will collaborate closely with Global Operation Process Leads, Engineering teams, teams in the Factories and a cross-functional analytics POD (Data Engineers, Data Architects, BI Developers), leveraging technologies including Power BI, Snowflake, and AI-driven tools. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology.
Requirements & Solution Design
Translate business and shop-floor challenges surrounding — Safety, Maintenance & Engineering — into clear technical requirements and end-to-end solution designs. Assess and explore solution alternatives to determine feasibility, pros/cons, and risk; recommend the most appropriate analytical approach for each manufacturing challenge. Design wireframes and functional specifications for analytical tools and dashboards, ensuring alignment with Operations stakeholders and Global Process Leads. Drive exploration and adoption of AI-powered tools alongside Power BI and Snowflake-based data products and to accelerate business alignment & technical delivery. Delivery & Technical Implementation
Lead and support the delivery of analytical tools from discovery through iterative development, maintaining close communication with the POD team (Data Engineers, BI Developers) and Operations SMEs. Assist planning and execution of technical implementation, owning functional validation and ensuring solutions meet agreed requirements. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) through hands-on technical assistance and thorough documentation. Maintain and update technical documentation and functional specs throughout the product lifecycle. Support the Data Steward in the development of the Semantic Layer to ensure consistent, governed data definitions across manufacturing analytics. Stakeholder Engagement & Root Cause Analysis
Engage regularly with GCOE process leads, plant management, and Engineering teams to identify and prioritize data visibility and analytics needs. Assist root cause analysis and resolution of data discrepancies, working collaboratively with plant SMEs and technical teams. Participate in design reviews and demos to ensure requirements are met, solutions are effectively communicated, and adoption is driven across plant teams. Proactively flag blockers and escalate to the Product Owner or Process Lead when facing major technical delivery or stakeholder management challenges. Foster a positive cross-functional team environment, with genuine interest in team well-being and continuous improvement.
What you'll bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a fast-paced FMCG or manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on analytics, digital transformation, or business process management. Solid understanding of manufacturing operations: Engineering, maintenance (predictive/preventive), and safety. Proven experience working in and delivery using Agile methodologies — sprint planning, backlog management, PI planning — with the ability to prioritize effectively. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity and translating complex plant challenges into structured analytical solutions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills — able to engage equally with plant-floor SMEs and operations leads. Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, or similar data platforms is a strong plus. Familiarity with AI tools and their application in manufacturing contexts is an advantage. Ability to work cross-functionally and orchestrate multi-team delivery toward a shared outcome.
