The Amazon MGM Studios EUX International Originals Production & Post team seeks an experienced Production Manager to oversee the production and delivery of assigned projects across our unscripted and scripted series slate. Working alongside Production Executives and the Head of Production & Post, you will help manage budgets, schedules, and production plans from development through post-production, ensuring each project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest creative and operational standards.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround, and efficiently and creatively help solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the team or other related groups. High attention to detail, great judgement, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects across regional teams is critical. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is essential, as well as professionalism when interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

This position will report to the Head of Production & Post Production, UK & EUX, International Originals.

Key job responsibilities - Support unscripted and scripted series across all stages from development through production, post-production, delivery and launch - Collaborate with producers and creative executives to assess budgets, production plans, and schedules, including analysis of production risks and budget/schedule impacts - Analyse budgets and cost reports, flagging variances and recommending solutions - Partner with internal teams (finance, post-production, VFX, music, casting, business affairs, marketing, social teams) to help develop and manage budgets and schedules - Travel to set as needed to evaluate workflow, budgets, and potential challenges, both domestically and internationally - Act as liaison between the Studio and productions, ensuring consistent policy implementation - Work with internal departments and production companies on production safety, security, insurance, labour, travel, sustainability, and tax incentives - Coordinate with post-production to ensure delivery of all required assets - Manage cross-departmental meetings with Studio teams and producers - Assist in the hiring and onboarding of executive producers, UPMs, line producers, and key department heads - Manage additional photography or reshoot requirements - Oversee wrap and delivery processes for productions - Maintain and update production guidelines, templates, and project trackers with current information. - Facilitate communication between internal teams including creative, marketing, press, business affairs, legal, finance, post-production, casting, and physical production - Collaborate with cross-functional teams across EMEA and the US, which may occasionally require flexibility to support US time zone meetings

A day in the life You will be a primary point of contact between internal departments, the Head of Production & Post, creative executives, and third-party production partners across our unscripted and scripted series slate. Your day will involve supporting to review budgets and cost reports, assessing production schedules, joining calls with producers and production companies, and proactively identifying risks before they become problems. You will help to move projects forward and think about how to best support the team and wider department. When productions are in principal photography, you may travel to set to evaluate workflow and help address challenges on the ground.

What you'll bring

- Significant experience in production at a network, studio, or production company environment - Experience managing budgets, schedules, and cost reports across multiple productions - Experience in unscripted television and/or scripted series production across a range of budget levels - Experience with the end-to-end production process from development through delivery - Experience with delivery of assets to studio/network - Proficient in Microsoft Office

Nice to have

- Experience as a Production Manager at a TV network, studio, or production company - Experience with all forms of unscripted television and scripted series across all budget levels - Experience with location-specific production guidelines and procedures, particularly international production - Proficiency with production management tools (e.g., Movie Magic Budgeting/Scheduling, Airtable) - Experience with a variety of digital media workflows and post-production - Experience with creating and maintaining schedules for various projects - Experience dealing with show clearance and credits issues - Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines - Experience working with producers, production companies, agents, and other industry players - Experience handling confidential information with discretion - Ability to work independently while contributing successfully to cross-functional teams - Effective analytical skills with attention to detail and effective communication abilities - Experience collaborating across multiple territories and time zones
